Today to introduce the letter E, Lil, O and I sang the E song, "who let the E out." O had fun saying Eeee Eeeee Eeee. Then we talked about words that begin with E, I gave Lil an E page to dot paint.
For her writing practice, I drew an uppercase E and lowercase e on paper for Lil to dot paint.
For our letter animal we created an E shaped elephant.
To review we read all letters we've learned, and Lil pointed as we began "A is for alligator."
Cynthia (nanny): For letter e practice, we created the next page in our Abc book by gluing on pictures of things that begin with the letter e.
Then we used colored noodles to fill in a capital and lowercase e.
After that, we practiced lacing a string through a capital letter e for both fine motor practice and letter identification.
