Since our focus for sense of sight is noticing the colors we see, the colored vinegar on baking soda is a great activity.
I have Lil a medicine dropper to transfer the colored vinegar slowly. She loved seeing the baking soda turn different colors and start to bubble.
This activity was a great way to experiment with color mixing as well.
Today we played a memory observation game to practice sense of sight. I did two trials of 5 items where they would name the items and then close their eyes as I removed the items. They were able to rremember and name all 5 items after playing 3 times.
Even though it was a little challenging, the girls had fun guessing the items and then hiding the items behind their backs and having me guess who was holding which items.
